In this guide we will show you the most important decisions that can be made in the final episode. Sometimes you'll have the choice to kill, at other times it's just a matter of small details.

Also this time you will find some items in hidden places. Our guide for the collectibles in Life is Strange 2 Episode 5 will show you the way. It doesn't matter if you play on PC (), PS4 () or Xbox One () - the trophies are the same everywhere.

Scorpion

Right at the beginning of the story, the two brothers are sitting on a cliff. Daniel uses his abilities to play with a scorpion in his hand, which displeases Sean because it is dangerous. To stop him, you have two options:

  • "Don't do that!" is the instruction of the older brother, who explains that Daniel should not annoy the scorpion. Daniel reacts with understanding.

  • If you decide to tell Daniel that you don't have time to play, he agrees, somewhat disappointed, and lets the scorpion go without further discussion.

Farewell to Karen in LiS2 Episode 5

Another important decision awaits you as you say goodbye to Karen. After hugging Daniel, it's also Shawn's turn:

  • Hug: Both fall into each other's arms and Sean thanks his mother.
  • No hug: Instead of a hug, Sean pats his mother on the arm with thanks and calls her by her first name.

Behind bars

The brothers are talking to another prisoner in Spanish when they are suddenly admonished by another person to speak English. A discussion breaks out.

You have three options to respond:

  • Either you explain to the lady that she is the one causing trouble.
  • Or you argue that she is lumping everyone together.
  • A third option is to explain that immigrants built the country.

All answers fall on deaf ears. Even when the other immigrants tell her that they just want a quiet life in a safe country for their children. The outcome of the scene hardly changes.

Everything leads to the situation escalating and Diego going after the inmate.

  • Stop Diego with words and keep him from getting physical.
  • Let Diego have his way and stop the situation from police officers rushing in.

Jailbreak in Life is Strange 2 Episode 5

Daniel helps Sean escape from the prison. Carla and Diego are stuck in the cell full of fear during the jailbreak. At this point, you are free to free the two.

  • If you free them, they - still scared - thank the brothers and get a chance to escape from prison.
  • Ifyou don't free Carla and Diego, they will remain in the cell, scared.

With the other inmates you also have the choice to take revenge on them - after all, they wanted to shoot Daniel!

  • Ifyou do nothing, they will remain in the cell as prisoners.
  • If you let Daniel use his powers and take revenge on them, he will throw them through the cell until they pass out.

The decision at the border in Life is Strange Episode 5

With the wall already in sight, the wolf brothers have almost made it. Sitting in the car, the two are ordered by the police over a megaphone to leave the car and turn themselves in. At this point you are faced with a tough decision:

  • Surrender
  • Cross the border

This is the last decision you'll make in Life is Strange 2. However, there is more than one ending to the story at a time. Depending on the morality of the brothers, as well as decisions from previous episodes, an ending can turn out completely different.

Surrender

Sean explains to his little brother that he shouldn't use his powers because the two aren't criminals. They then get out of the car with their hands up and Sean is arrested. Agent Flores promises that Daniel will be taken care of.

You will find out what the future holds for the brothers in the next points of the guide, because it depends on previous actions in the game.

Crossing the border

The story of the Wolf Brothers will end with them crossing the border - or at least one of them. How the border crossing takes place, whether they all survive, and who actually ends up living in Mexico depends on your previous decisions. We'll break down all the possibilities for you below.

High and low morale in Life is Strange 2

In Life is Strange 2, there isn't THE ONE act that will make you a pair of moral brothers that always act on the side of morality and brotherhood. It's an interplay of many choices you've made so far through the five episodes.

It's not just the big moments that are important, such as when Daniel should or shouldn't kill someone, but every little step that counts. In the supermarket, for example: Did you spend your money there on things you can afford, or did the can of soup wander unnoticed into your jacket pocket? And what about the food of the travelers - did you beg for it or proudly rummage in the garbage when they were gone again? Little things like that in everyday life shape your mindset and eventually lead to different ends.

Almost all decisions have an impact on the morality of the wolf brothers. As a big brother, Daniel lives life to her and these experiences continually shape him. So which ending you eventually reach depends on your decisions in the last episode and all previous deeds.

End 1: You won't make it

This story arc (Daniel or Layla) only occurs if Daniel and Sean have strong morals.

If you have chosen to surrender at the border, Sean will be arrested and Daniel will grow up alone. Many years later, Daniel is able to get his brother out of prison, but they part ways.

In an earlier episode, if you took the chance to call your friend Layla while on the run..she is with them when they pick her up from prison.

End 2: Only Daniel makes it

This storyline only occurs when Daniel and Sean have low morale.

If you have chosen to surrender in the final decision, a fight arises between the brothers. Sean wants to surrender, but Daniel won't let him. A chain of dramatic events leads to the fact that only Daniel can start a new life.

This is the only plot line that leads to Daniel having dyed blond hair at the end.

End 3: Only Sean makes it

This storyline only happens if Daniel and Sean have strong morals.

If you decide to cross the border, the brothers go full throttle towards Mexico. However, Daniel's strong morals mean that he does not voluntarily cross the border into a new life.

He later receives a letter from Sean with pictures.

Alternatively

If Sean previously hooked up with Finn or Cassidy in the second episode, one of the photos changes.

End 4: They make it

This storyline only happens if Daniel and Sean have low morale.

If you decided to cross the border and made many decisions beforehand that represent weak morale, both of them will make it across the border thanks to Daniel's powers.
