Aurelia is Sir Hammerlock's sister. She was a playable character in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and took on the role of the Baroness. She was on the side of the Crimsons Raiders, but has since defected to the Children of the Chamber and is ready to kill you. Borderlands 3 Defeat Aurelia: The most important facts

The former exterminator awaits you at the end of the main mission "Cold as the Grave" on Eden-6. Defeating the Frost Baroness not only unlocks the last artifact slot in the inventory menu. It also gives you a chance to get her legendary shield Frozen Heart, which creates life-sucking cryo-oven. Use the weakness of the frost and equip a fire weapon . If you don't have a weapon with the fire element, use a weapon with the corrosion or shock effect. In the fight against the chamber boss Rampager, you can scout out the location in advance, since the fight doesn't start right away. With Aurelia it's different: Here the action starts as soon as you jump down the shaft at the end of the mansion. The fight takes place in a small room - your weapons should have short and medium range.

If you have a shield that protects you from cryo damage, be sure to put it on before the fight. Before you meet Aurelia, you won't pass any vending machines. Refill your ammo and health at the hidden crates in the previous three rooms. You will also find some chests on the side walls in the battle room.

How to survive the fight against Aurelia in Borderlands 3

Aurelia is a kind of mage who attacks you with frost spells. She summons up to three ice whirlwinds that continuously damage you on contact. At first they are small, but after a short time they grow and inflict even higher damage. They circle around the room and must be kept an eye on, otherwise they will kill you quickly.

Their main attack is ice lances, which they shoot across the room. These inflict high one-time damage and slow down your movement and rate of fire. For support, Aurelia summons bandits that attack you in melee and ranged combat. Focus on the psychos to avoid being harassed in melee and only then take care of the ranged fighters.

For regeneration, she summons a cocoon of ice. As long as Aurelia is in the cocoon, she takes no damage and regenerates life. Destroy the coc oon as soon as possible. As another ice creation, she occasionally creates an ice tower from the top of which she shoots. It increases her damage and should be destroyed quickly.

If you leave Aurelia on the left for some time, she will create an ice storm which causes massive damage. Disrupt her by putting her under fire. When she's not casting spells, she doesn't do any damage. Therefore, get close to her and aim at her head. It is her weak spot where you will deal critical hits.

More tips for the boss fight against Aurelia

• Aurelia is at level 29, so we recommend at least level 26 for the fight. If you dodge well, you will pass the fight even with level 25.
• Position yourself at the end of the room and move from side to side to avoid incoming ice projectiles more easily.
• If their blizzard can no longer be interrupted, run to the other side of the room and protect yourself.
• From character level 28, ignore the ranged fighters and eliminate only the melee fighters.
