These gadgets are available to the agent

Zane's specialty is his gadgets, which support him in battle. He can equip two gadgets at once and boost each gadget with two action skill enhancements each. These enhancements will improve the gadgets offensively or defensively. These gadgets are available to you with the agent:

The SNTNL Drone is an automated drone that provides aerial support to Zane in combat. In its basic state, its use lasts for 24 seconds and brings a cooldown of 60 seconds. It is the gadget of choice when it comes to an offensive skill. With the action skill enhancements, its damage can be converted into area damage or the damage on the single target can be boosted.

The Barrier is a more defensive gadget, used to block enemies' projectiles and boost your own. It can be positioned or carried, but this makes it smaller and less effective. Without any other talents, the barrier lasts for 14 seconds, blocks projectiles from one direction and has a cooldown of 24 seconds. With enhancements, the barrier can become a protective dome, deal direct damage to enemies, and boost the group within the barrier with positive effects.

The Digi clone is a 15 second active image of Zane and can deal damage as well as take some shots. In addition, the agent can swap places with his clone. The swapping of places and the distracting effect can be increased by enhancements to the action skill. Also, the clone can explode, be skilled to split damage and boost Zane's shields through the enhancements.

The Frenetic build is currently Zane's only skill that deals very high damage to groups of enemies. "Rescue" is relevant for Zane's self-healing.

Borderlands 3 Zane Build: The All-Rounder

This build is more on the defensive than designed for offense. Battles against Anointed require more time than with other builds. On the other hand, you'll rarely die and you'll be able to get used to the agent in peace. The build isn't immediately playable, though, since you'll need special items that you'll only get in the course of the game.

The focus on the cryo effect makes for good enemy control on the battlefield. As an all-rounder, you'll show your opponents the ropes in close combat and at medium range. Far away targets, on the other hand, hardly take any damage from you. This is due to the fact that the cryo effect is hardly effective at long range.

However, since the all-rounder is completely dependent on the cryo effect and his kill skills, which only work at a limited range, this is the biggest weakness of the build. Nevertheless, the strength in melee combat makes up for this minus point excellently. The action skills "SNTNL" and "Barrier" provide high damage and sufficient defense in this area.

The action skill extension "Allrounder" turns the barrier into a dome that shields you from damage from all sides. "Deterrence Field" as the second barrier expansion brings further enemy control through the "Stagger" effect and also weakens their shields. "Brain Freeze" is the mainstay of the entire build. This gives critical hits a chance to slow down and freeze enemies.

"Chill and Stay Cool" picks up where it left off, letting your shield and health recharge whenever you freeze an enemy. "Confident and Knowledgeable" rewards you with increased firearm damage and aiming accuracy while the shield is active. The Night Hawking and Lucian's Call weapons supplement the build with additional elemental projectiles and magazine regeneration.
