  • How to find all the books
  • What rewards are waiting for you

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is full of side quests. One of them makes Aiden a member of the Book Club and brings some culture into all the carnage of the zombie apocalypse. We'll show you where to unlock the Book Club quest and find all the lost works.

Where can I find the book club side quest in Dying Light 2?

In the floating PK fortress of The Wharf (Central Ring), you will meet Albert the Librarian. His library is on the lowest deck near the Master Craftsman. Albert asks you to help him with a task: get him the most valuable works of world literature to preserve them for future generations. The books are scattered in various abandoned apartments and stores in the central ring. In total, you must find eight books in five locations.

Where can I find the two books in the Book Club 1 quest?

The first book is in an apartment north of the Magnolia windmill in The Wharf district. Climb across the courtyard onto one of the balconies and climb in through the open window. Then sneak through the zombie-infested apartment to the corner room to the west overlooking the commuter train station. There is a shelf on the wall with the Bible on it.

Book number two is in the northwest corner of The Wharf, about 150 yards northwest of where the Bible was found. Cross the underpass station, walk through the underpass and cross the apartment complex to the northwest. The building is right next to the Waterside subway station. You can read where to find all the remaining quick travel points in Dying Light 2 (Guide) in the linked article.

Climb over the truck in front of the building onto the balcony and enter the apartment. From there, continue the second room on the right (bedroom) and turn left. The book "Andersen's Fairy Tales" is on the small box in the corner. Return the books to Albert and part two of the book club begins.

Book Club 2: How to find all four books

Talk to Albert's assistant Thalia. The dialogue options don't matter much. The first book is located in the east of the New Dawn Park district. Climb onto the balcony via the adjacent military post and reach the apartment through the broken window. Go into the first room on the right, finish off the zombies and take the Tibetan Book of the Dead from the sideboard below, where the large speaker box is located. The collected works of William Shakespeare are in the large office in the folder shelf on the left wall.

Travels next to the north end of the Muddy Grounds neighborhood. The apartment is in the large apartment complex with the yellow stair and balcony railings. Climb north up the building until you're standing in the open doorway. On the left in the kitchen you will find "One Thousand and One Nights" on the bookshelf. In the next room there is a sideboard next to the door. On it is "The Epic of Gilgamesh".

Book Club 3: The locations of the last two works

In the third round of happy book collecting, you'll once again find yourself in Muddy Grounds. This time to an abandoned store up north. The Communist Manifesto is on a rolling coat rack at the end of the back room to the right of the cash register. After that, go upstairs and follow the corridor. The Bhagavad-Gita is on the right coat rack under the blue jacket.

What reward do I get for the Book Club side mission?

In addition to some background information on the collected works, you will receive 250 experience points (EP) for Aiden's parkour and combat skills for each Book Club quest you solve. You can read more about how to improve Aiden's skills in our Dying Light 2 skill guide.

Albert will also give you a medicine for each set of books. After the third mission, the librarian explains that there is no new book list for now, but that he will contact Aiden soon. So you can assume that there will still be quest supplies from the library.
