Although Hope County was completely destroyed after the nuclear disaster, secrets can be found in the new world. You will stumble upon treasures in various places. But don't worry: here no one has to unpack the shovel and dig deep. The riches can be found quickly with small tasks and a little force.

When you have found all ten treasures, the trophy called "He who seeks, finds" awaits you. By the way, before you start searching, we would like to recommend you the skill "Climbing Hook". Some of the locations can only be reached with it, and it would be a shame if you had to give up at this point due to a lack of advantage points.

What do the treasures bring?

It really pays to go treasure hunting. Besides the satisfying feeling of being a real Indiana Jones, each treasure you find gives you a whole three prestige points. You can use them to learn new skills and abilities.

Besides, it wouldn't be a treasure if valuable materials weren't found there. In addition to items for crafting, prestige is lying around here and there to collect, which can be spent on cool designs in the store.

Prestige can only be purchased for real money outside of the treasure hunt missions. So if you don't want to spend extra bills, this is your chance for cool extras. Although it won't make your weapons stronger, it will give them a new look that will amaze your friends. By the way, you can get a total of 450 x prestige.

How to find the treasures

It wouldn't be a hidden treasure if there were 20 maps and 5 signposts to its hiding place. So you will have to make a little effort. But in return you will be rewarded with rare items. There are several ways to get the coveted loot. How easy you find the treasure in the end depends on your commitment and progress in the story.

Talk to the people in Hope County. In Prosperity, for example, there is a scout who is always available for a little chat. You'll recognize him and other scouts by the exclamation mark icon above his head. These people know Hope County perfectly and always have a useful tip ready. Sometimes they even mark the location of a treasure on the map.
If you don't want to search for a long time and have some ethanol in your luggage, Bean is your contact person. Once you've completed his mission and brought him to Prosperity, he sells tickets for all sorts of things. Upgrade his station further by using the most important resource and bring it to level 2, then you can buy the treasure map for 30 x ethanol.
If you don't want any clues and the treasure map is either too expensive or too easy for you, you can still get the treasures. If you are in an area where the coveted Far Cry currency is hidden, it will be marked with a diamond symbol on the map.

There are a total of ten different treasures to recover. They are well hidden and must be uncovered by solving small puzzles and tasks. These challenges are of different nature and always start with a note from the taskmaster. This way, you'll also learn a bit more about the people of Hope County at the same time.

Treasure #1: A disservice

North of Prosperity is the F.A.N.G. center. There you will also find the dog Timber, which is one of the Guns For Hire. If you shoot the big bell in the tower here, a big bear will appear and attack you. Defeat him and grab his key, which will open the gates to a crypt nearby.

Treasure #2: Spin

Near the outpost "The Screwdriver 's Cave" you will find Parker's cave. Again, you'll have to start the treasure hunt with a shot by hitting and destroying the lock on the door from the roof. In the building there is a lever that can be used to turn off the electricity. This will allow you to enter the underground treasure chamber comfortably and without power surges.

Treasure #3: High Art

In the very south, on the bank of the river that borders the entire playing field, lies Zilon's studio. Behind the barn there you can easily shoot the wooden planks. With the help of the climbing hook, which you have to unlock in the advantage menu, you can reach the rope slide. However, the access to the treasure chamber is blocked by some cars. To get there, you'll have to turn the valves in the barn until the way is clear.

Treasure #4: Target practice

At "Nadine's Junkyard" further north, the next treasure hunt begins. In an underground room your shooting skills are in demand. The aiming exercises are not really difficult. The main thing is to hit the eight targets and the lamps start to glow. The way to the treasure chamber is already clear.

Treasure #5: Rescue underground

Head west from the outpost "The Pantry" and encounter the Elends Falls. Again, the climbing hook is needed to get inside the mountain. The path will lead you to a cave full of water and two cars. To enter the treasure chamber, you need to release the brake on the car so that it falls over to the front and serves as a small raft. From here it's just a stone's throw to even more prestige.

Treasure #6: Yes, just make a plan!

Near the completely destroyed bridge, which you should also visit for a souvenir photo, the next treasure is waiting for you. Use the climbing rake to get high up. Then just swing into the treasure chamber and collect your treasure.

Treasure #7: Burning Souls

Why don't you stay right by the big river and move northeast towards "Eden's Pyre". Nearby, you'll find five corpses to place on the pyre. To open the treasury, they should be burned. Just use an incendiary arrow or a Molotov cocktail from a safe distance.

Treasure #8: Riddle Fish

West of Hope County you will find Skylar's puzzle. Here everything revolves around fish. But not living, but music playing decoration in the form of the fin friends. Start the sequence on the generator and remember the order in which the fish move.

Correct sequence: 246135

Nearby is the treasure chamber, which can only be opened by the right combination. Touch the fish in the right order and the door will open.

Treasure #9: Drift

A little to the south, under the "pen of the oil-smeared"You will find the path of the traveler, marked by white flags. A zipline will lead you to the camp, where please do not forget the key. At the end of the path you will find the hiding place from which you can recover materials and prestige.

Treasure #10: Smoke them out

Southeast in Hope County you will find the Tooth Chapel. A strong kick against the wooden boards will open the way into the building and a view of the home of the cute wolverine. Burn it down and grab the key that opens the nearby treasury.

Acquire Prestige

As you learned in our guide, prestige can be obtained relatively easily by finding the treasures. But for that you'll have to scour the entire map, which is definitely not an option right at the start. On the other hand, if you want to get started with the prestige items right away, you won't be able to avoid pulling out your wallet.

Ubisoft charges 4.99 Euros for 500 Far Cry Credits. If you buy the double for just under 10 Euros, you get 50 on top. There is no bulk discount, but there is some extra prestige if you choose a high sum.

The biggest profit is made by buying 5000 Prestige. They cost just under 50 euros, but come with 2250 credits as a gift. This opens up the world of colorful weapons, cool vehicles and stylish outfits.

What you can buy with Prestige

The Far Cry credits are also called Prestige and can be used for numerous extras in Far Cry New Dawn. For example, you can use them to get special weapons. This also works wonderfully with the various vehicles. They aren't better than the models earned in the game, but they look cool.
