Defeat Billy the Anointed: The preparation
The fight against Billy the Anointed takes place on Eden-6 as part of the Cave of the Harpy mission. It begins as soon as you enter the door of the theater. In front of the door you'll find some slot machines that, with a bit of luck, will spit out a good weapon.
You can load up your ammunition at the several chests in front of the theater. Use the previous rooms as well, because the last vending machines are far behind you. In the theater hall, you'll also find some chests in the upper rows, which provide you with important life regeneration and ammunition in battle.
For dicey situations, the stairs and levels in the hall provide shelter to shield you from Billy's attacks and recharge your shield. Since you should seek distance from the anointed if possible, mid-range weapons will benefit you more than a pistol or shotgun.
If you play with a sniper rifle, don't use the weapon zoom. Otherwise, you won't notice projectiles and attacks moving towards you and won't be able to avoid them. Choose weapons with fire or physical damage for combat if you want to deal the maximum damage.

How to survive the fight against Billy
Billy is supported in battle by allies. They don't cause much damage and are hardly dangerous to you. Consider them as life insurance and kill them only when you are fighting for your life to get the second chance. The boss comes without its own health meter in the top center of the screen, as you know it from other bosses. If you want to see how much life he has left, you'll have to target him directly.

The reward for Billy's death is the Assault Rifle Lead Sprinkler, which shoots fireballs and causes area damage. He summons it in a semicircle, growing larger with distance and flying towards you at a moderate speed.
If it hits you, you will lose a large part of your health. Avoid it by jumping up in time. If it is in the upper rows and you are in front of the stage, dodge it by ducking. Another painful attack is his teleport. Billy disappears and appears a short time later right in front of your nose.
Afterwards he hits the ground and ends the fight without further ado if you don't flee quickly. With his jump, he has two attacks that reduce his distance to you. Again, dodge them by moving. About halfway through the fight, the boss will let loose some target-seeking skulls that will slowly chase you.
Try to shoot down as many as you can and make sure you get more distance by moving backwards. At every opportunity, use the area of the theater hall to dodge his projectiles and fire at Billy at the same time. His purple energy ball is the last attack he'll throw at you. He throws it at your exact position and causes area damage. Make sure you keep the highest possible distance to avoid taking blast damage.

- Don't enter the theater until you are level 21, otherwise the fight is way too hard. Billy the Anointed is at level 23.
- You can move the fight to the hall in front of the theater hall. To do this, leave the hall and lure Billy into the hall. It consists of several levels and offers good protection through pillars. This is useful if you run out of life regeneration crates or have trouble surviving.
- Billy has no weak points whose hits would cause increased damage. He also doesn't have any heavily armored areas. Go wild to your heart's content.
